Meet Our Field Personnel!

  • Joe graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Geosciences, and is interested in further exploring volcanology and paleoclimate. He joined GG to gain field experience and a further appreciation for data collection.

In his free time, Joe enjoys playing tabletop games and making music with his friends.

  • Jack graduated from the University of Houston with a BS in Geophysics and Mathematics. He is interested in geothermal energy exploration and environmental remediation using geophysical methods, particularly remote sensing and seismology.

Outside of work and studies, Jack enjoys hanging out with his friends and playing games as well as finding new and fun places to eat!

  • Marjorie graduated from Tulane University with her BS in Earth & Environmental Sciences and a BA in Political Economy. While at Tulane, she designed an independent study mapping volcanic structures on the Moon and studied active volcanoes in Hawaii.

She loves bein in the field and gaining practical experience in earth science with the GG team.

Marjorie enjoys hanging out with friends and watching documentaries about animals and archaeology.

  • Brendan graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he studied Physics and Geophysics. He is interested in seismology, volcanology, and instrumentation in the field. His undergraduate thesis focused on seismic array signal processing for an eruption in the Galapagos.

In his free time, Brendan enjoys traveling, reading, and cozy computer games.

  • Skylar graduated from Baylor University with a BS in geosciences and a concentration in geophysics. As an undergraduate, she studied impact craters using gravimetry and magnetotellurics.

She is interested in studying volcanology and planetary sciences in graduate school.

Outside of the field, Skylar enjoys rock climbing, playing games with friends, and watching history documentaries.

  • Taylor graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2023 with her Bachelor of Science in physics. She is looking to begin her MS in geosciences in the fall of 2024.

During her undergrad, she attended the Summer of Applied Geophysical Experience (SAGE). There, she collected and processed transient electromagnetic data for the Valles Caldera in New Mexico.

In her free-time, Taylor enjoys drawing, photography, sewing, and spending time outdoors.

  • Thomas joined Green Geophysics in 2018 and worked on the MTArray throughout the American Southwest for several years. He has also worked on a TEM survey for Condor Consulting and a broadband survey for Cyrq Energy. Despite no longer being active in the field, Thomas continues to provide ample support for operations!
